Have you been struggling to smell your reed diffuser and you aren't sure why? This article is going to help you troubleshoot the possible reasons why and help you have a fresh smelling diffuser again.
Check the Reeds
The first step is to check that your reeds have not built up with oil and dust. This can trap the fragrance and prevent it from releasing the scent. To avoid this from happening in the future make sure your reeds are in a dust free location. If you notice a build up in dust, we would recommend getting new reeds!
Flip the Reeds
The next step is even easier than the first one. Flip your reeds! yes, this might be why you aren't smelling your scent any longer. When you flip your reeds regularly, it will help disperse the fragrance into the air and re-scent your space. We recommend flipping your reeds one to two times a week, and right before guests arrive.
Location, Location, Location
When you are picking a spot to place your diffuser, we recommend a location that has minimal draft, away from direct sunlight and isn't competing with other scents. When the location isn't right, your fragrance will struggle to project consistently. Place your reed diffuser in a location that is away from open doors or windows, has indirect sunlight, and won't clash with other scents.
Size Matters
Whoever says size doesn't matter is wrong. When choosing the size of your reed diffuser the size will determine which space it can fragrance.
